The front-load washing machine at our cabin developed a horrible smell after about 6 months. I tried the so-called "cleaners" out there and the smell always returned. I started researching the cause of this smell, in hopes I'd find a permanent solution. When I found the washerfan kit, I thought I'd give it a try. Well, it works as advertised. The awful odor that was so persistent was totally gone within two weeks after installing the washer fan kit. I've recommended this to all of family and friends that have front-loaders, even if they're brand new units. I love this fan! I have had mine installed for 3 months & it works just like it says it does! It has stopped all mold from growing, which caused the stink! I have forgotten my load of clothes in the washer, for a day, and it still didnt stink! (with the fan) It saves me time & money not having to re wash clothes that were forgotten in the washer!!!
