After researching the causes behind the awful smell in my front-load washer, I stumbled upon the washerfan kit and figured it was worth a shot. Within one week after installing the kit on my front load washer, the smell was completely gone and has not returned. When I purchased a new front-load for my cabin, I installed a washerfan kit before even running the first load of laundry. The new washer has never developed any smell what-so-ever. I highly recommend installing a kit on your existing washer or a brand new unit! I love this fan! I have had mine installed for 3 months & it works just like it says it does! It has stopped all mold from growing, which caused the stink! I have forgotten my load of clothes in the washer, for a day, and it still didnt stink! (with the fan) It saves me time & money not having to re wash clothes that were forgotten in the washer!!!
